BEAST UNLEASHED
The 2nd gen E70 X5 was a step in the right direction after the trial of the first gen X5 – which had a slew of classic BMW issues – but this one improved much upon a winning formula. Then all you had to do was choose a beefy V8 petrol or reliable and equally beefy M57 diesel. We all know that the diesel was the way to go (unless you wanted noise…)
There is not much this beast can’t do. Sure we could have a debate about SUV’s in general, but as a overall package this Gen 2 X5 really had it all at the time.
